Company Background

Welcome to Testun Cyf's website - a company specialising in translation and subtitling services.

The company was established in 1994 by its current directors, Geinor Jones and Hywel Pennar. Having worked in the translation and subtitling industries for several years, they decided to set up their own company with the emphasis on high standards, supreme quality, a friendly service and reasonable rates as well as excellent employment opportunities and a happy working environment for their staff.

Testun Cyf employed a staff of three in the early days, but as the company's reputation has grown, so too has the number of clients and high-profile contracts, as well as the number of employees. We currently employ twenty-four members of staff.

The majority are based in our offices in Cardiff's city centre or at S4C but we also offer experienced workers the opportunity to work from their homes. One works from his home in north Wales, another from her home in Pembrokeshire and another from his home in Powys.

Testun Cyf provides comprehensive translation and subtitling services to a wide range of clients in Wales and beyond. We have an extremely varied portfolio of customers that includes blue chip companies, voluntary organisations and public bodies such as the National Assembly for Wales, the Environment Agency, Visit Wales, the Care Council for Wales, S4C and the BBC.
